Let me stay in the shallow
I'll dive into the deep again
But not now, not today

I'll stay away from the dark
and the dangers down there
Let me stay inside the light
Where I can restore again

Let the light touch me
The dark won't get me
I've seen enough of it
turned my back at it

The sun can warm me up
To the inside of my heart
No more darkness inside
what I call my mind

Maybe a spark left behind
To remember how it was
So I don't want to return
To the darkness ever again

One dayOne day without you
and I'm already lost
I feel empty inside
don't know what to do

Just one day without
sweet words said to you
and my mind flows over
with an overload of words

One day without knowing
if you're still alive
What does my mind do
to make it think that way

I want to say every day
How much I love you
One day without that
Is a day without you

One day is enough for me
to realize I'm nothing without you
even though I've been alive
longer without you by my side

Forever YoungIf you could live forever, would you take that chance?

Imagine, watching your own life from afar.
Remembering the heartbreak and the tears,
Seeing all the people who left you with scars;
Coming to terms with your hidden fears.
Remember the day when you said to me,
"I want to die young or live forever."
Surely after all these years, you can see
You cannot simply wish for whatever.
Because every time I see you cry,
I'm reminded of just how much I love you.
How could you possibly wish to die?
If only you knew, if only you knew…

When we dream we dream like kings

Kings with gold and diamond rings

Rings that shine from eye to eye

Eyes divine like massive shrines

In this land composed of sand

Sand as smooth as silky hands

Hands design these crafty plans

Plans that have such odd demands

They call for walls made of ore

Ore taken from the core

The core of which can not be seen

Seen by those who can not dream

They call for halls made of glass

Glass cut as sharp as grass

Grass as green as those jade rings

Found on hands of kings who dream

For war to cease and peace increased

Peace leased away to nations obese

In weapons, bombs, and viole

Will you be the one that saves me?Maybe, you'll be the one that saves me
the one that takes my eyes away
from the pain I feel every day
In my body, but mostly in my mind

I hurt myself every day
With the thoughts I think
Not thinking about love
But about the possible pain

A single happy thought
Crushed by darkness
Flowing from my mind
Overwhelming it all

Be the one that saves me
Bring joy in my heart
Without the pain I feel
From my own thoughts

Will you be the one that saves me?
From my own darkened mind
Every single living day
Before I break myself down

This broken person inside
With all my dark thoughts
Flowing over my mind

He made sure I was never found
He inflicted those scars
He locked me in those bars

He hid me from you
I hid the pain he insued
He screamed at me
I made sure I did not breathe

I carried on like life was fine
He made sure that I was in line
I did every thing that popped into his head
He made sure I was lead

His abuse is becoming more than I can bear
Talk against him- I wouldn't dare
Then a chance- it now called
I would run away I would never fall

I ran away from this place
I made it like a race
It did not matter the cost
As long as I was lost

They are the great gifts
You give me every day

No expansive things
I don't care about
But the small touch

It's all the details
combined into you

Dance of The Fallen

I walk onto the dance floor
And am surrounded by ghosts of summer's past
They dance around me wearing faceless masks
Each move with such grace and beauty
I know it is too good to last
Faster and faster the figures dance
To soon do I stumble
Giving myself away
Each covered face turns my way
Suspecting me of being something
Different, Strange
I realize then I am not a faceless creature
A hateful bane
I am bright and vibrant
Something that should not be covered
Or smothered by other's selfish spite
I reject your masks
Your hateful ways
For I am me and I will never be tamed
So I continue dancing

About the River Inside My HeadThere's a river in my head and I know you haven't seen it.
You haven't heard it bubble and you haven't felt it touch your bare ankles,
because, like I said, it's inside my head.

I am, almost literally speaking, a fish out of water with you,
with my foggy eyes and gaze that always
avoids yours.

It has never bothered me like it always bothered you
but you smelled of human skin and your palms were sweaty -
I could not hold your hand for the life of mine.

You had anger and something else, pity, sadness, all the like,
in your eyes as I took my sleeping pills

Confined there is no way forward,

And no escape route to look towards.

Forced and fake conversations.

A very time consuming situation,

Words subjected to manipulation.

The moment persists,

Eye contact impossible to resist.

The occasional glance over that is always missed.

Tidal wave of sorrowIn a tidal wave of sorrow
I say farewell to my grandmother

Pain, fresh in the heart
Cutting deep, cutting it all
The loss of a loved one
She was always there, not any more

Present in my thoughts
To think about, to love

Her soul shined outwards
to delights us with happiness
A spark of her in my mind
enough for joy in my heart

My heart ripped through pain
My thoughts frozen through sorrow

Because of this sudden loss of my Grandmother
I stand with my heart full of emotions
Sorrow because of her loss
Love because of her life

Lost for my arms to embrace

This maze I find myself in
Is not one I want to get out of
Will you get lost with me?
Inside this maze of ours.

Let's get lost together
In this maze or another
I'll get lost in yours
and you can lose yourself
inside this maze of mine

Created by the beauty
Of your beating heart
Right in the middle
Inside this maze of yours

Let's lose ourselves
of the world outside
